Ingredients:

Preparation:
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake churro for 8minutes and let cool for approximately 30 seconds
  2. Immediately roll in 16:1 sugar to cinnamon mixture and then cut the churro diagonally and evenly into three pieces
  3. Spread hot fudge sauce on plate to cement churro in place. This helps to stabilize the churro on the plate.
  4. Place a generous scoop of ice cream on top of the churros
  5. Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top of entire combination
  6. Garnish with an Oreo Cookie
  7. Serve immediately

This is a spin off of the classic Grasshopper Pie. Instead of using a chocolate pie crumb base, we use hot fudge sauce to cement the 12" Plain California Churro to the plate. From there, we use mint chocolate chip ice cream with hot fudge sauce as well as a Mini-Oreo cookie. You may also add chocolate sprinkles for your customers. Also, some chefs add additional hot fudge sauce on top of the churros and ice cream.
